The Saucony Azura made its debut back in 1988. It was marketed as a quick and light outdoor running shoe equipped with advanced technical innovation. The Saucony Azura’s most notable feature is without a doubt the Torsional Rigidity Bar (TRB) that wraps the perimeter of the shoe designed to disperse shock, increase energy return and enhance midfoot support.

The Azura consists of a compression-moulded EVA midsole foam that provides more than enough cushioning, while Saucony?s ?Stabil Wrap? functionality provded optimal support and precise control. The shoe is constructed out of microsuede and a ripstop mesh that keeps everything light, ventilated and durable. Below you will find Saucony?s patented triangular-lug rubber tread ideal for not so ideal weather conditions. 80s vibes is found on the shoe by way of Azura?s tri-colour logo placed just below the ankle.

Look for the Saucony Azura to return once more at Saucony and Saucony retailers beginning December 18th for $85.
