Air Jordan 3 30th Anniversary, All-Star Dunk Series, All-Star NRG. Whatever you want to call them, one thing appears to be for sure, they’re coming! Although the name of the shoe appears to be a bit all over the place for now, the tribute behind the shoe is not.

Done in a classic White Cement theme, this reinterpretation of the OG design switches it up a bit in order to pay tribute to the time Michael Jordan did his thing at the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest that was held in Chicago, Illinois. During this dunk contest, Jordan laced up his White Cement 3s and wowed the crowd by dunking the ball from the free-throw line.

The iconic picture of the free throw line dunk can be seen above. If you take a closer look at the image, you will see that the exact time that Jordan dunked the ball from the free-throw line was 3:51. As a nod to the exact moment Jordan flew from the free-throw line, this version of the Jordan 3 comes with inner back pull tabs that read, ?3:51.? Other notable features on the shoe include the new icy translucent outsoles and the beloved Nike Air branded on the heels.

Said to be releasing in very limited quantities, look for the Air Jordan 3 All-Star Dunk Series to release on February 14th (All-Star Weekend).

The Air Jordan 3 All-Star is said to be part of the ?Dunk Series,? which will also include the upcoming Air Jordan 3 Black Cement.
