LOEWE is dropping a capsule collection in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, more specifically the immensely popular animated movie My Neighbor Totoro. The collection transports the protagonists of the movie onto a range of clothing, leather bags and accessories, a notable piece being the LOEWE x My Neighbor Totoro hoodie coming in four bright colors.
The collection features My Neighbor Totoro’s iconic characters and the fantasy landscapes that they inhabit, featured as prints, allover prints, leather marquetry, jacquard intarsia, hand-painted motifs and even transformed into pom-poms.
The colorful hoodie selection champions a feeling of comfort - as with other loose silhouettes in the range such as T-shirts, jumpers and culottes - and conveys a distinctively youthful feel that’s inherent to the LOEWE brand. Key features include long sleeves, ribbed cuffs and hem, an extra-long drawcord at the hood, LOEWE’s brand name at the front and the Totoro print on the back.
